Northern Pines Counseling provides structured, evidence-based outpatient counseling services designed to assess, treat, and support individuals experiencing substance use disorders. Services are delivered by licensed clinicians trained in SUD treatment, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed interventions, and relapse-prevention practices.
Goals:
Reduce or eliminate substance use
Improve overall functioning and wellness
Build skills necessary for long-term recovery
Support safe, healthy decision-making
Northern Pines Counseling provides substance use evaluations for individuals referred by probation, parole, attorneys, or other legal entities. These evaluations are conducted in accordance with applicable state standards and professional guidelines and are intended to assess substance use patterns, related risk factors, and treatment needs.
The evaluation process typically includes a clinical interview, review of relevant legal or referral information, standardized screening and assessment tools, and consideration of psychosocial, medical, and behavioral factors. When appropriate, collateral information may be reviewed with proper authorization.
Following completion of the evaluation, a written report is prepared that includes clinical findings, diagnostic impressions when applicable, and recommendations for treatment, education, or other services as indicated. Evaluations are conducted objectively and independently; completion of an evaluation does not guarantee any specific outcome or recommendation.
